I purchased an extended warranty on an open box “new” portable A/C. What I received had obviously been used. Tried to make it work anyways, but it became an issue. Went to warranty it, now theyre spending hundreds to repair it for 4 weeks. It would cost them like what $150 to just replace it? It’s just scummy business practice intended to make you not want to exercise your rights.

I had a really bad experience on best buys international help line and it was so bad that I decided to just try and go directly into the store. They were really nice and helped me out so much I was actually gonna stop shopping at best buy completely because of how mean the international call line was but going in person to this store changed that completely. They were amazing and really understanding and just treated me like a person. I really hope management is treating them well because they are doing everything right and all deserve raises. Went in today and saw they had the exact thing XBOX items I was looking for. They also had open box but IN EXCELLENT condition. I just got home and opened and they are in poor condition at best. I would say the Turtle Beach headphones should even have been allowed to be returned. They have dandruff and baby powder all over them. This had to either be an inside job from employees or they just don’t check what people are returning. It’s deceptive and dishonest.
