Wow, Best Buy now has a 14 day return policy?! Unfortunately I was 2 days outside the return period on a never opened product and I asked to see if a manager could potentially help… I spoke with two managers, the first seemed very intent on not letting me return anything, almost frustrated that I would even ask such a thing. The second manager attempted to help, offering a $50 per year plan that would extend the return window to a normal 30 days. Spend $50 to return $100… not a great option but better than nothing. I have been a loyal BB customer for years and I just thought I would get decent customer service. “Oh you didn’t know we had a 14 day return period? We’ll let me help you out this once since it’s only two days”… but no. Bad customer service and rude attitudes. Best Buy you get to keep my $100 but you lost me as a customer. I’ll pass this story along to whoever I can for whatever it’s worth. Maybe it’s just this store but if this is a reflection of Best Buy’s new customer experience then I am sure you won’t be around for long. Sucks to see from what used to be a great store.

I just tried to return an Apple Watch band. Box is still unopened, sealed, and I have the receipt. ($20) I bought it as a gift and they didn’t like the color. It was 18 days ago that I purchased. They tell me their policy is 14 days only for returns. They won’t even let me exchange it. I am in their rewards program (although I’m in the free one not the one you pay extra for). As much as I don’t want Bezos getting any more of my money this poor customer service is making me leave Best Buy. I had paid more at Best Buy because I wanted to stay local but this is the last straw.

I purchased an iPad this week and young African American gentleman assisted me and he was very knowledgeable, helpful and answered all the questions I had before buying. I really wish I remembered his name, but i remember it being an uncommon name. I just want to say he was great!
