Geek Squad did not provide me with the correct information when switching phones through an applecare transfer. I was told "it's just as simple to do it without the old phone" which was not the case at all. I had to recover my account through apple, and phone number did not just transfer over like they said it would. It took me two hours, a recovery contact, and a separate contact to AT&T to get my phone number transferred. Not a chance I will use Best Buy for this kind of thing again. I don't want to provide the team member's name because they were nice enough, but this was extremely frustrating. Long story short, just make sure your device is working properly before leaving.

Best Buy didn't process properly my order cancelation on June 15th 2025, even though I have received an email from Best Buy confirming the cancelation on June 15th 2025, the cancelation was made on the same day of the automatic charge done by Best Buy. I have called Best Buy now and they said I have to dispute with the Credit Card, something that Best Buy failed to process properly. I had to spent 30 minutes with the Citibank agent with a terrible accent to dispute the charge, and it is yet not solved.
