Twice I have attempted large purchases here and twice it has gone horribly wrong. This time I will be sharing my experience with corporate.
I can’t stress this enough — if I were planning to steal something, the last thing I’d do is walk in without a mask. Yet somehow, both times I’ve visited this Best Buy location on Millerville (last week and today), I was watched so closely while shopping that it made me feel like a suspect rather than a customer. It’s invasive, frustrating, and completely unnecessary.
Today was the final straw. The bald staff member at the front — who is consistently rude and unhelpful — didn’t even acknowledge me, and I didn’t bother acknowledging him either. Why would I, when previous interactions proved he’s not interested in assisting anyone anyway? If I ask a question about a product in a technology store, I expect at least some basic knowledge or a willingness to find someone who can help. Instead, I was met with blank stares and indifference.
I came in with the intent to make a significant purchase. After realizing for the second time that I’d get zero support, I browsed on my own and left. I’ll gladly take my business to another location where customers are actually treated with respect. Millerville Best Buy — do better.
Friendly Staff who are quick to help with whatever you need
