This review is about Best Buy’s online order installation service, not the Santa Rosa store. But our washer/dryer installation ordered through BestBuy.com (Nov 14 and Nov 18, 2025) was the worst service we have ever received by far! On the first visit, the installers knocked on our interior door and asked me to come clean up a water mess before they could continue—despite my husband already being in the garage with them. This was completely inappropriate. They then short-circuited power to the laundry area and told my elderly, disabled husband to get an extension cord from the garage and run it through a doorway to power the washer. Unsafe and unprofessional. With 14 minutes left on the wash cycle, they refused to stay and told us to finish the installation ourselves. They could have simply stopped the cycle. When my husband followed their instructions to plug the washer into the wall, the improperly installed dryer vent immediately detached. The dryer has been sitting on a stool in the hallway ever since—an obvious fire hazard. When we called Best Buy the next business day, the supervisor blamed us instead of taking responsibility, even though the dangerous situation was caused entirely by their installer. On Nov 18, the second technician (Ricardo) arrived, refused to complete the installation, and claimed the issue was a “leak” from the home—something no other plumber or technician has ever identified. He left without doing the work, and we were again left with an unusable, unsafe setup. We also never received the new hose we paid for. After two failed installation attempts, unsafe conditions, shifting blame, and no accountability, we will not be purchasing through BestBuy.com again.

I used to work at this location and here's a few things I would like to say, no I will not be saying when I worked there to protect my privacy. First off one of the manager there ( the main manager for the computing department) is a creep, he stays right outside the line of any sort of SA or anything like that because he knows he can get fired. another employee of theirs is also a major creep which i have both anonymously reported to HR and nothing has been done. Second is how they treat their employees. You aren't worth anything to Best Buy (at least in this location) if you don't get any credit card applications. They don't care for your well-being (there is ONE manager that is the only person who is higher up that genuinely cares for his employees) They'll say they do then completely back track. It does not matter how well you preform at your job it doesn't matter how much you do for the company if you do not have any credit card applications or if you don't have enough card applications you will never see a raise. I worked there for a year and the only raise I got was my yearly 50 cent bump up while my co workers who got hired around the same time I was are all in different departments and have higher pay because of those card applications. if you ever encounter a best buy employee really pushing that card please POLITELY decline they don't want to be pushing it. Third is that I was hired at $18 an hour which in California isn't bad at all but what makes me upset about this is that my male coworker who got interviewed the same day as me as well as the same hiring and onboarding day as me started with a higher pay rate, i am a woman so this seemed extremely sexist to me. As a worker at best buy I never once had a good day with customers there was always someone yelling at me that i don't know how to do my job when i ask to see their ID because its against best buy policy to give an online order without ID. I will continue to share my experience at this exact best buy because i believe i was treated unfairly by a lot of my co workers, the cashier manager Karla (I say her name because she was nothing but rude to me at my time working there. I personally have don't nothing to that lady and she had continued to say rude things not only behind my back but right in front of me as well, she's not working in your favor she doesn't care for you or your well being) and the whole company in itself, some of the workers and one of the managers are genuinely amazing people but please do not work here unless you are willing to be pushed to your limit not only by your co workers and managers but by the rude customers as well.
