Best buy destroyed my iPhone!!!
For context, I brought in my iPhone for a simple battery replacement as my iPhone’s battery is showing that it needs serviced.
My phone has never been repaired so obviously never opened. Then one of the Geek squad guys came back, after around 45 mins and said my screw was stripped! Despite him visually inspecting the phone and ran diagnostics on the counter, before taking it behind the counter. How the hell is that even possible when we bought it brand new from T-mobile, never been touched by anyone. When they brought the phone inside, they tried and they broke it!
Then a manager said that it could be dust buildup and it’s happened before. Dust buildup would strip a screw? Oh please! They attempted to repair and they stripped the screw! That’s what happened! The phone has never been touched! They were the first ones to repair it, and they broke it!

BUYER BEWARE: Upon arrival, only open box chargers were available for sale, which was disappointing.
When I got home, I discovered a third of the $90 Surface charger was missing and it lacked any Microsoft branding, even though the product condition was marked as “new".
I tried contacting the store, but their virtual AI assistant was useless and couldn’t connect me to a representative. After being on hold for about 10 minutes, I was finally connected to an international “help center,” where I was told that broken or counterfeit products were simply the “risk” of buying an “open-box” product from Best Buy. I was also informed that their physical stores no longer accept customer phone calls.
Their lack of product oversight, nonexistent customer service, and inability to stock new products is unacceptable and a slap in the face to customers. AVOID THIS LOCATION!!
