We purchased two TVs from this store, spending close to five figures in total. Unfortunately, the delivery and installation experience has been extremely disappointing.
For the initial installation, we were required to stay home all day and clear our schedules, which is understandable for a delivery appointment. The installation team was able to set up one TV, but the second TV—which was to be wall-mounted—arrived cracked. The team placed an order for a replacement and a follow-up installation appointment.
I then had to clear my schedule for a second full day to accommodate the replacement. When the installation team arrived, I was informed that a different team is required for wall-mounted installations and that the wrong team had been dispatched. Their only solution was to reschedule the appointment for two days later, requiring me to block out yet another entire day.
I spoke with three different departments in an attempt to resolve the issue, starting with an agent named Hernan, but none of them were able to provide a reasonable solution. One customer service representative even acknowledged that the appointment could have been rescheduled for the afternoon, but explained that they had to wait for the delivery driver to mark the delivery as completed in their system—a process that would not occur until the end of the day. For a company that sells and installs technology products, relying on such an outdated and inflexible process is difficult to understand.
This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. The repeated scheduling mistakes, lack of coordination between departments, and complete disregard for my time have turned what should have been an exciting purchase into an incredibly frustrating experience.
We've purchased many times from Best Buy but this will be our last.
