Wife made purchase based on associates recommendations. Wife is not tech savvy. Associate told her it would work. Technically a Samsung watch does work with an iPhone. But most features will not work. The associate conveniently left that out. The national Best Buy line only recited policy and procedures. My watch was $330 and it is outside the return day by about 1 month… a present. The store offered $50 for it. I’m outraged the person on the phone had no empathy for the situation, pretty much a robot, pretty sure they train him like that. I’m outraged the store associate told my wife it would work, then when she just took it in to geek squad they told her she should have got an Apple Watch….. I would really like to resolve this issue in store and continue shopping at Best Buy. But if the only resolution is a $50 in store credit… I’m going to never shop at Best Buy again.
I don’t have social media. So if you answer back and want me to post on social media, I can’t.
Very poor selection available of the items on display as for sale. Many of the items on display were not available at all. They didn't verify that the accessories they sold us actually went to the phone we purchased as well. I try to avoid doing business there and this reassured me that that is the right path ... I would avoid shopping at Best Buy.
This will be my last purchase to Best Buy! Purchased Samsung buds for my boyfriend in January. The tracking sporadically doesn’t work and he almost lost one in the hospital after someone moved it taking a food tray. Made an appointment with the Geek Squad as I was asked to in the App. Apparently they only service Apple. Big waste of time! Asked if we could just receive store credit towards another pair and was denied and told to go through the manufacturer. Apparently customer service for defective items isn’t a thing anymore, unless you pay for it. Lost a customer for life! I’d rather shop Costco or Amazon!
This store always has our back. We purchased all of our stuff here. Today we were assisted by Christopher and he was amazing at helping us to locate the item we wanted since it wasn't on display. Next time you come by, ask for Christopher.
