Coming to New Orleans… Geek Squad Summer Academy!
This year’s event will be at the Kingsley House at 1600 Constance Street in New Orleans, LA 70130. This year’s camp is two days and runs from August 2nd to August 3rd from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM both days.
Geek Squad Summer Academy is a community sponsored event by Best Buy. At Geek Squad Summer Academy, we partner with local non-profit organizations to teach students technology in classes, such as PC Hardware, Digital Photography, Digital Video, and Digital Music. During the Geek Squad Summer Academy event, students will build friendships through team building activities, such as building computers and collaborating on Digital Video and Digital Photography projects.
Geek Squad Summer Academy is a program customized for students between the ages of 10 and 18. There are special requirements and restrictions for some of the locations that will host a Geek Squad Summer Academy based on the non-profit needs for the communities that they serve.
