I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Best Buy and Geek Squad. I left my computer with them on 05/25, and not once did I receive an update. After waiting months, I went back to the store on 09/23, only to discover that my case had been closed without any notice.
They told me they “couldn’t fix it,” but what’s worse is that my computer now has visible physical damage that was absolutely not there before. Instead of taking responsibility, the manager, Carlos, dismissed it and claimed it wasn’t damage — a statement that is both insulting and dishonest when the evidence is right in front of us.
This is unacceptable. I entrusted Geek Squad with my property, and not only did they fail to repair it, but they also returned it in worse condition and refused to acknowledge their mistake. The lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism is appalling.
I am beyond upset with this experience and will be escalating this further. I strongly caution others against trusting this store or Geek Squad with their devices.
