We took our daughters lap top in to be looked at by Geek Squad and I just can't say enough good things about Isaiah O.
He is an absolute treasure of a human being, kind, knowledgeable, funny, friendly, relatable and ever so helpful.
Good sales team. They did not have what I was looking for but offered alternatives.
We went in today to purchase a TV and laptop, and from the moment we walked in, several employees warmly greeted us and offered assistance. In the laptop section, we met Jack, who took the time to ask about our needs, especially since my husband requires specific features for GIS software at work. He really listened, understood our criteria, and then guided us to several great options. We ended up finding the perfect laptop with his help.
Next, we moved on to TVs. We haven’t owned one in over 10 years, so the selection felt a bit overwhelming at first. Jack asked thoughtful questions about our viewing habits and budget, and since we don’t watch much TV, he helped us choose a mid-range, budget-friendly option. He explained key features clearly, recommended a brand that suited our needs, and even assisted us in selecting accessories like a mounting bracket and sound bar.
Overall, Jack made the entire experience smooth, informative, and stress-free. As someone who considers themselves very tech-illiterate, I truly appreciated his knowledge, patience, and respect for our budget. Thanks to him, what could have been a daunting shopping trip turned into an enjoyable one.
Item never delivered or installed after 1 month and 3 cancelled appointments! I would rate Zero or negative stars to BB Corp management and their 3rd party installations who either cancelled or simply failed to show up with not even a call to say they weren't coming. Dishwasher ordered and purchased 7/8 with install scheduled on 7/29. Cancelled on 7/29 after making arrangements to prep and be home. Was told next avail date was 8/15. Unacceptable. Emailed the sales guy who was able to reschedule for 8/1. Received confirmation 7/30 and morning of 8/1.
Their 3rd party Installer was a no show! No call. Nothing! Went to store because you cannot talk to anyone who can actually help you by phone. All calls go to their call center. Spoke to the sales guy who escalated the issue. Received a call from their escalation team (NOTE: at no point were we EVER contacted by any member of the Best Buy "MANAGEMENT" TEAM OR THEIR THIRD PARTY LEADERSHIP. The only helpful team members were my store sales guy, and a lady from the escalation team. Names omitted for privacy.
Installation/Delivery rescheduled a THIRD TIME on 8/8 (a Saturday). Confirmation had been received from BB and also confirmed by my sales guy the day prior. Installation was cancelled AGAIN by phone by their call center due to "unforeseen circumstances". Enough already. Took my paperwork and we demanded a full refund of everything. Including the BB membership, as we will never make another purchase from BB.
