So I went to buy a laptop online tonight that was 'available for pickup tonight'.I didn't buy online but that didn't matter. I went to store within a half hour of looking at website and it's not in stock. Dude at store says there are 2 in transit and 1400 in warehouse. So I am like whatever.I go home and order online. Then I get an email it is not available at the store. DUH! Thanks for the update. It gives me the 24/7 hotline to call. The first time I get disconnected. I call back. They inform me my item is not available in the warehouse. The only store they can find for me to PICK IT UP AT is 45 miles away.I took the deal since it is an item I want and is at a great price. But freaking for reals?!?!?!I am soooo not impressed with this store...and this isn't the first time, this was just the WORST time.Oh and geek squad is a crock too. FWIWGood luck shopping people...be diligent!

I am looking for work and it is frustrating to go into a store that isn't working. Let me explain what I mean. All I was looking for was a Jazz Christmas CD. Apparently, there is no longer a Jazz section and/or any one to help me find it. I finally found something else in the Christmas section. Then at the check-out, there is only one register open which is handling a problem. This is a big deal since there are at lest eight people in line. This lack of service is unacceptable and demoralizing to those of us who love to work and need a job. I will only do business with people who earn it.

This is my 3rd interfearance with this best buy.The first time i called to ask if they had cash registers, They replied yes, so we drove way out of our way to go get one. We got there and asked the coustomer service desk were they were and they said they are right before you check out. WTF why would we call to ask if they checked us out using cash registers. The second time i went in there looking for a under water ipod or mp3. The guy had us standing there looking at the computer for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Finally he replies i am sorry mam we dont carry them. So i walk around the corner and find them right there. Lastly, (Hopefully this will be the last time i deal with them) I made an order online for the cyber monday price. I callled right before i sumited the order to check if they had one in stock, because the offer was only good for in store pick up. We live two hours away from the springs. So we were planning on going tomorrow and i just wanted to double check they had it. Well surprise surprise it was know where to be found. i was on hold for 48 minutes and when they returned they had nothing to say. I was fed up so i decided to ask to talk to a manager and he didnt know either so he said he would call me back. Point of all this is the employees dont know enough to help the coustomer. I will never use best buy again and i wish they were the ones that went out of business instead of circut city. Those employees were actually helpful. JUst thought I would share.

I finally hung up after being on hold for over an hour. You should really be able to manage calls for how large your store is...very disappointed.

Some people might not think that a laptop crashing is an emergency, however my world started spinning last night. I am an Army Officer in a temporary duty status at Fort Carson and I am shipping out to Afghanistan in 2 days. Last night my computer completely crashed. I was very upset due to the fact that, after 4 previous deployments, I was finally going to be at a location where I would have internet access to keep in touch with my wife and children who reside in Ga. After literally working all night to fix the computer myself I went to the Best Buy in Colorado Springs today (not familiar with the area but it is the one next to Dick's sporting goods and Whole Foods). I pled my case to a 23 year old "geek" who explained to me that it would be impossible to fix my computer by the time I left. The young man was a former computer guy in the Army and he took a personal interest in helping me out. This guy not only found me a great deal on a new laptop but he personally took the time to set everything up for me on the spot. I wish I got the kid's name but I know he was leaving to go on vacation to Miami tomorrow. Bottom line, this kid deserves a bonus for customer service from the management. I have NEVER received customer service like this in my life. Thanks alot Best Buy. To many my "emergency" may seem petty but this guy understood where I was coming from!
