I've shopped at this location several times as it is on my way to and from work. I've purchased TV's, computer parts, games, and even a Netgear router here. They have always been helpful. Granted the people may not know 100% of everything I ask, they at least try and find someone who does. I've seen several bad reviews here about customer service, and all I have to say is do you people expect people to be crawling at your feet to help you with your $100 purchase? There are hundreds of customers, and yes, they are there to help, but you cant expect them to be begging to help you. They do a fine job. All I can ask is more competitive pricing, I can find half of what I buy online for less. And usually there is free shipping. Best Buy tends to do a fairly big mark-up (some 30%), which has led me to purchase items online instead of in the store.

I bought a smart TV here and got free two pairs of 3D glasses as they advertised online. When I got home and opened box, one of the glass was broken, so I went back to store to exchange. A representative helped me at the firsrt time but she said she had to show this to a manager because the box doesn't have any damage. Then a manager came out and asked me what happened and I told him that it was like that when I opened the box. Of course I thought he would think it was a defective item, but he said it could never happen unless someone opened this box and stretched and broke this glasses which means that I was lying. My husband felt bad after the general manager's words, so he said, "I don't think so. We brought what you gave us and.." When my husband was talking the manager cut off his words and said " We won't take this back, understand? I'm not spending more time arguing with you here" The manager said this with a terrible attitude. Then we had one repeated conversation just like above and the manager left. The manager was still treating us like liars and showing very high handed attitude. We could understand if they had said that they couldn't exchange it because they didn't have policy for defective items, and we would have bought another pair of 3D glasses and left without having this disappointing conversations. Still feeling terrible.

I ordered my copy of Battlefield 3 From this best buy because on events they had listed a midnight release for the game. Showed up tonight and wasted my gas only to find out that they were no longer holding said midnight release. I never received an email telling me that it had changed. When i recieved my Pre Order bonus email it was for content that amazon was giving away with pre orders for the game. Not what i was promised by best buy. I never gave best buy my service before and I sure as heck will never be giving them service again.

After dropping off my computer this morning to have software installed, I never received a phone call from the Geek Squad, although they confirmed a call would be made in 2-4 hours. 8 hours later, I made a call to Best Buy to see the progress of my software update only to find that nothing had been done. The representative I spoke with proceeded to imply that software was not paid for, and therefore could not install my software. I promptly went to the store with my receipt to show proof of purchase. The representative brought the manager over to assist with the issue. Not only did the manager refuse to help, she had a terrible attitude. She spoke negatively towards me, refused to assist in making a phone call to another Best Buy location, refused to replace my software, and willingly let a customer leave the store unhappy.This was unacceptable customer service and unacceptable management.

They are helpful, probably to helpful if you just want to walk around and browse. I got asked 10 times if I needed any help. :) I have used this store for years, and I have had plenty of good experiences.

10-15 years ago, Best Buy was the only real game in town, and they knew it. I put up with lousy service and contemptable sales reps because the prices and selection were good.When competition like Circuit City and others came to town, Best Buy didn't seem to care. Their on-site service (sales people) were useless, and the pricing was no longer an advantage. I changed my electronic purchase decisions to Circuit City - which wasn't much better, but I felt it was the only voice I had to announce years of displeasure with Best Buy's attitude towards my dollar.When Circuit City shut down, I have been returning to this Best Buy store. It seems that word is getting out (either through review sites like this, or otherwise) because this store has picked up the slack - for now. I've made two purchases in the last 90 days, and both instances I was impressed by how far they've come. Mind you, the service I received from these recent visits wasn't over the top - just AVERAGE. But you have to understand just how LOUSY the service was before.I am CAUTIOUSLY optimistic that upper-level management got the word and made the appropriate changes needed to make this a store that Aurora people can be proud to patronize.
