On two separate occasions within the last month these guys went above and beyond to help me with some frustrating issues that to be honest I wouldn't have been surprised if they on a least one occasion said they could do nothing. They were very polite and took their time researching any and every way they could possibly help and they did. One was a price matching request and the other was on a washer. I was very impressed with these guys. Now the call in customer service is a completely different story. If I could give the call in customer service -5/5 I would. It sends you to someone in a different country that in my particular circumstances couldn't and even wouldn't help. You need to go in store to get the best help but when you do (in my case) it was a very pleasant experience.
I went in to get a new HP laptop, had all my information sku, model what I wanted on it. I live an hour and half from store, forgot to start with this. Got home opened box was not the one I asked for. The clerk did take a very long time to get the one I brought home. Took it back that long drive next day. Met with manager Lewis Taylor, store didn’t have one I wanted. Lewis found one I liked on website ordered it, my son picked it up several days later.
Lewis gave me his card with email address, got in touch to thank him about this computer.
He answered and gave me a cell number.
This Sunday 2nd of November I called because my new laptop would not take a charge. Left message. I called the same number Monday the 3rd November 4 times leaving messages, no reply again. I also left an email Monday plus a text.
It is now Tuesday the 4th November and haven’t heard a word about Best Buy getting me a new cord so I can use my laptop. My next step is to send this same review to Best Buy headquarters.
This is not acceptable to me that I bought a laptop but now not a month away I can’t use it.
So, every place I can get this reported I will be doing this. I have been an outside sales person all my life, this is not the way to do business with any company. Just a word of warning be very careful when purchasing if you do from any Best Buy store.

I remember a time when Best Buy used to be relevant and it was one of my favorite places to go however, the company new policies, especially not letting you speak to an actual agent inside of the store that you were physically calling is one of those policies I hate to say it, but they’re not gonna last very much longer
