How do I check product availability at the Waco Best Buy?

Clerk didn't want to spend the 15 minutes before closing to help me. (I was sent to where they evaluate a laptop.) She didn't know anything about laptops. I simply came to buy a laptop cord. N she plugged it in n said nothing wrong with my cord. Started checking for updates, said would take too long n more puzzling asked my laptop to undo updates. She could of just closed my laptop. N turned out it was the cord n she cost me many days n nights without my laptop on a trip cuz I believed her..until I didn't..
