We bought a Samsung - 5.1 cu. ft. Smart Top Load Washer with Active Wave Agitator and Super Speed Wash on 8/28/2022 from Best Buy. On 12/21/2023 we noticed black and brown debris in the tub and on washed clothes. I asked for a repairman, but our warranty ran out 4 months prior. So, I had an online chat with a Samsung Care Pro that same day. It took 2 hours to trouble shoot. He mentioned there was an issue with mold and debris building up in this machine. We ran a step of the checklist before he let me know the next one. The checklist for getting debris out of this washing machine should be in the owner’s manual – not discovered for the first time on a 2 hour chat and troubleshooting call. We regularly did this cleaning cycle on our Samsung going forward. On 9/8/2024, we noticed more debris. We ran the checklist and a huge amount of debris was in the bottom of the tub. We have had Maytag washing machines for decades and an Electrolux washing machine, neither EVER had this issue. Something is wrong with the engineering design of the Samsung for it to have this severe defect on a machine that is only 2 years old. We continued to try this abatement method...to no avail. We have had to run this cleaning cycle 10 times in the last 2 months (since 01/01/2026) to remove black flakes. This finally resulted in a new purchase of another brand washing machine. The Samsung lasted 3 1/2 years. DO NOT buy this washing machine from Samsung.

1 Star – Extremely Unprofessional Installation Experience We went to Best Buy (Concord Mills NC) ahead of time to show the team the exact equipment we wanted installed in our vehicle so we could ensure we had everything we needed and verify the installation cost before scheduling an appointment. When we arrived for our installation appointment, the installer immediately started listing new charges that had never been discussed. When we questioned this, he offered no help and simply said, “I’m not the manager.” I then asked to speak with the manager. The manager came over, reviewed the situation, and agreed to meet us halfway on the unexpected charges, so we agreed to proceed with the installation. After having our vehicle for almost two hours, the installer called and said he was stopping the installation due to “liability” concerns with our radio. He claimed the radio was staying on even though there was no power to it and said all he did was disconnect the battery and nothing else. Yet there was a mysterious cut red wire sticking out from behind the radio now. However, when we inspected the vehicle, several things were clearly changed or disconnected (he removed the entire passenger seat, the previous amp, the previous sun, and who knows what else we couldn't see. Despite this, the installer attempted to have me sign paperwork stating that he had done nothing to the vehicle. I refused and asked him to accurately document the work that had actually been performed, including removing the seat and removing the amplifier, etc. To make matters worse, this vehicle belongs to my 16-year-old son. His system was working before this appointment, and now it has multiple issues that were not present previously, including non functioning steering wheel controls, this mysterious red wire, and a sparking amp that he had to remove from the vehicle for safety reasons. We now have to take the vehicle to another company and pay them to repair the problems and install the new amplifier and subwoofer. This was one of the most unprofessional service experiences I have ever encountered. The lack of transparency, accountability, and basic customer service was extremely disappointing. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location for installation services.

No integrity. Bought this new tv. Took it out of the box and it looked like this when plugged up. Called customer service and they said sorry about your luck. This has happened twice to me in 5 years from best buy. Do not let them deliver it. Have them plug it up in the store.
