Ahmed got me to the item I needed in one minute.
I purchased a washing machine. I paid for installation and removal of my old machine.
The crew came to install and haul away but couldn't because of a small leak in one of the pipes. I had this fixed the next day and called Best Buy to setup installation, which they scheduled for 5/1/2025.
The day before installation, a man called from Best Buy to say he was coming to our house but he didn't know why. My wife left him a voicemail telling him he was coming to install a washing machine and haul away the old one.
We then called Best Buy to let them know we were concerned about the order.
A Best Buy rep said their system showed the installation was completed and the haul away was done. They then fixed the order in "their system."
Now, on 5/1/2025, the employee was supposed to show up between 11:30 and 3:30. He called to say he didn't know why we needed him because he only installs home stereo equipment.
I called Best Buy in Rockville and asked to speak to a supervisor. They just connected me to the corporate customer service number all over again. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor said I have a reschedule for this Saturday, but that the guy who was coming was the right guy, so she didn't understand why he said he doesn't do washing machines. I told her to call him, then, and tell him to come if that's the case. She said she can't because they're already coming on Saturday, and that if I want to return the washing machine, I have to load it into my car and take it back to the store.
I said I drive a Toyota Corolla, and I paid for a service.
Later, the manager of the stereo section called to tell us "it's not his fault any of this happened."
This is why Best Buy will eventually go under. I can't wait for the adventure this Saturday. If it doesn't come through I will be taking Best Buy's resident agent to small claims court, as this is costing me time and money to miss work to stay home while they pass me around for everyone to tell me it's "not their fault."
They need more professional technicians to fix the HP laptop. The only answer they gave me was the solution to wipe up everything and reinstall the windows. They refused to check the bios to get more money for backup and reinstall. Also, the guy was not busy, but they wanted me to make an appointment for the next day. So I went two times, and it was useless.
Store was nice and employee that help me did her job but the manager isn't the best and has no customer service skills. side note there was an older lady looking for assistance for over 15 minutes. I almost jumped in to help her and I don't work here.
