I had an excellent experience at Best Buy located at 15854 S La Grange Rd, Orland Park, IL, and wanted to recognize several outstanding employees who made my visit both productive and enjoyable.
First, I want to thank Judy for her exceptional service. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right products for my needs. Judy helped me select a fantastic coffee maker along with several other items, taking the time to explain different options and answer my questions. Her professionalism, expertise, and friendly attitude made the entire shopping experience much easier and more enjoyable. She truly went above and beyond.
I would also like to recognize Aaron, who assisted me with selecting a monitor for my office setup. He was knowledgeable, informative, and took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for. His recommendations were thoughtful and helped me make a confident purchasing decision.
Amanda was another employee who stood out during my visit. She was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. It's always refreshing to interact with someone who genuinely enjoys helping customers, and Amanda certainly made a positive impression.
A special thank you as well to Motez, who helped me evaluate dedicated storage solutions for both my office and mobile work needs. He was patient, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the entire decision-making process. His expertise helped me find solutions that fit both my professional and personal requirements.
Finally, I would like to recognize Kaniyah, who welcomed me when I arrived and pointed me in the right direction. Her friendly attitude and willingness to assist immediately created a positive first impression of the store.
What impressed me most about this Best Buy location was the teamwork and customer-focused attitude demonstrated by everyone I interacted with. Every employee I encountered was professional, approachable, and willing to help. In today's retail environment, that level of customer service deserves recognition.
Thank you to Judy, Aaron, Amanda, Motez, and Kaniyah for making my visit a great experience. Best Buy is fortunate to have employees who care about their customers and take pride in what they do.
With the ever growing desire for Pokemon cards, families with children have been struggling to find stock available. This particular location has a policy that is not inline with the larger, Best Buy corporate policy. At this location, children under the age of 18 regardless of age, infant to 17, are not able to purchase packs of Pokemon cards at this location. Teenagers, under 18, able to drive to and wait in a line for Pokemon cards are turned away as they do "not have a parent with them." This is not the policy of Best Buy corporate as a whole, but a decision by staff members of this location. This restrictive policy is posted at no location on the exterior windows or within the store itself. I am currently in discussions with attorneys regarding this being a case under the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act, 815 ILCS 505/1. Again, this restrictive policy is limited to this location. Near by locations in neighboring cities welcome parents with children. After all, Pokemon is intended to be a children's game.
