My 85 year old mother, who was having a lot of difficult life events at the time, needed a new cell phone. We were lucky enough to have Shawn Rubin as our sales advisor. We went in with the intention of purchasing a particular phone, and once he saw what my mother's needs were (she had previously been using a TrackPhone and had tremendous difficulty with it), redirected us to a phone and plan that totally met my mother's needs. He spent a little over 2 hours with us and was very patient. He is exceptionally knowledgable and was able to set up a new phone, transfer what little information my mother wanted to preserve from her old phone and ensure that she had working service. I am very grateful that, just out of dumb luck, we were connected with Shawn and my mother will now be asking for him personally if she has any future Best Buy needs. It's a real testament to this Best Buy location that they hired such exceptionally competent sales professionals who also listen to customers and meet their needs rather than push products that someone does not need. Thank you, Shawn, for your exceptional customer care!

Worst experience ever. Bought a laptop and gave them my old laptop to transfer data. 24 hours later when I was supposed to pick it up they hadn’t even started. Go anywhere else.

I felt the need to post this review because I was very impressed. My mom's digital clock broke and she needed a new one. Considering this day and age, there's not many to choose from. A very polite employee named Shawn, in the Wilkes-Barre store came over and asked if he could help. He saw how we were stressed to get a clock for our mom that he went out of his way to help us. I told him we were buying that clock so he let us open it so we could see if it would be bright and large enough for mom to see. He read through the instructions to see how to make it brighter. Long story short, you can't count out all young people as being dismissive because Shawn went out of his way to make sure we were pleased with a $20 digital clock purchase. The world needs a lot more young people like Shawn in it. Thank You BestBuy for hiring Shawn! You've got an excellent person and employee on your staff!

As soon as I walked in I was helped by a young man that had only been working at Best buys for 2 days. He and the girl at the customer service counter we're just lovely.
