Our goal is to show our support for our local community. Some of the organizations that we have helped are the Humane Society, Wishing Star, Police and Fireman Memorial Golf Tournament, and the Rainbow/PRIDE Festival.

For the Humane Society, Best Buy volunteered at the Paws for Cause event, Bogs for Dogs, and a booth at the Interstate Fair. The goal was to get all the animals adopted.

With Wishing Star, we helped grant a disabled child’s wish. His wish was to have a laptop computer and iPod Touch. He wanted to be able to talk with extend family in Russia, and play games that would challenge his mind. We gave him the laptop and the iPod Touch, and ensured that everything worked properly so he could communicate with his family.

The great thing about Best Buy volunteering for these non-profit organizations is that if Best Buy gets 10 employees to help out at one event, then that organization will receive $1000 from Best Buy under the Tag Team Award.
