always enjoy shopping at the store. I have purchased many item from Best Buy and always been satisfied. Geek Squad I have had some problems with. Nothing serious just don't at times feel they are really helpful in answering my questions I might have. I am not electronic knowledgeable and have to ask lots of questions

Being in the Customer Service industry I feel cheated by not being offered office to go along with my PC. I was trying to pick what computer would best soot my needs, the one question I asked was answered, but that was even at a stretch! Didn't realize till I had driven the half hour back home that not only did I forget to buy any type of Microsoft Office tools or anything like that, but if I'm not mistaken I am supposed to receive a discount for making the purchases in the same transaction!?

I completed the entire transaction over the phone so the only choice I had in rating the appearance of the store was "poor". You might want to add an option to that particular section of the survey where you could check if you did not go to the store to buy the product. For example, I could have bought something on line without every going to the store.

It would be nice if the products were in stock I have come in many times and the products are not in stock. It is very irritating when I drive quite a distance to get there more than once and the products are out of stock each time.

Associates should be better trained in knowing their products and being able to advise which product best suits a customers needs based on criteria given by the customer. Give a better understanding between the differences between a $480 and $690 laptop/notebook.

Your reward zone is hard to figure out and cumbersome to use and it sucks you take away point if not used in a timely fashion. Reward Zone silver is worse. Can't get through security, can't log in, can't use it period and can get no help from the service numbers or anyone in the store or over the internet. I stopped shopping at your store due to this. Spent thousands on TV's and computers and Audio and no rewards points ever get credited that can be used. Your system used to be good and it changed two years ago and I no longer buy anything major from you. I use your store for Demo and buy from others now.

The only problem I've noticed the last couple times being in there is all the people working are busy helping other customers, and sometimes you have to wait a while to get helped. Maybe 5 minutes or so, not terribly a bad wait, but a few more employees could really help with that.

I purchased a laptop from the Bellingham location that quit working in just under a year, they replaced the mother board (which I was pleased with) but only for the mother board (again) to quit working in just 3 short months. I have always treated the laptop with the upmost care. When I brought the computer back to see what they could do to help me with the deffective motherboard, the employee simply informed me that I was, "SOL".Not only has the Bellingham location lost a loyal customer, but also the entire company. I will NEVER buy anything from Best Buy again. I will also happily inform all of my family, friends, and all other contacts about my poor experience dealing with this company so that they can add that to their lists of why not too, and why they already DON'T deal with Best Buy. Everyone I know warned me about buying a computer from this company and now I sincerly regret disregarding their valuable advice.

I bought a computer and came home, unwrapped and plugged it in. After spending $1100 I looked everywhere for a user's manual. Couldn't find one so I called the 800 number and spoke to two people that didn't have a clue. One guy said, well I don't think that computers come with manuals anymore. YOu will have to find it online. Telling someone who is as technologically illiterate as I means I will return the computer because from the moment I opened it, there was NO support. No, I didn't spend $100 for geek support. Didn't know I needed to spend the money to have a user's manual! This is ludicrous and of course, there was not a phone number for the store where I bought the item, just the 800 number with the know nothings answering it. I am really disappointed. Now, I have to get in my car and drive 30 minutes at 8pm at night to get my question answered. No, I won't buy another and no, I won't refer people to Best Buy. Hire people with a brain to answer the 800 line.

I actually first came back to Best Buy a couple of weeks ago to search for options on a computer. My taxes were on their way to me and I had talked with a friend at my job about computer options. He builds them. So, according to my specifications, he printed up a good computer from a website that he is familiar with and I wanted to see what Best Buy had that would match it. I wanted to do this so that I could either buy it from the Best Buy website or in the store. The first guy I spoke with was VERY helpful and knowledgeable. I don't remember his name. Then, I found out that one computer I liked was only available from your website. I tried to get financed and was turned down for one card, but accepted for another. The one I was approved for had a low limit on it, and I wanted to go back to the store to see if I could alternatively conduct business there. On my last visit, I talked with the person who sold me the one I bought. But, when I was there, he told me that Best Buy would approve me for a much higher limit than the online people had approved me for. I was pleased. But, then we ran into a problem of me being able to buy the computer I wanted in the store because it is called a "Marketplace Item", and can only be purchased online. It was an Acer Veriton with an Intel i7 quad core processor. Once I learned that there was no way around having to buy it online, and I knew that that wasn't going to be a good option, I asked the sales associate what he had in the store that would at least get pretty close to my specifications. He offered an Asus with practically the same specs as the Acer. I REALLY wanted an Acer because my girlfriend and I have always bought their laptops and we trust them. I have only heard about Asus. But, it was never anything negative, so I decided to give it a shot.The only advice I would give Best Buy as a business would be to have more flexibility in this area, because it was obvious that I would be approved to buy the computer that I wanted in the store if the store had only carried it. But, it was only available online, and I wasn't approved for the same amount online, so I had to keep finding brick walls in my way until I had to settle for something else. I have even yet to use the computer. It's still sitting in the box of which I haven't even opened yet either. LOL I've just been too busy and I haven't gotten a cord for my monitor yet. I only bought the tower from Best Buy. And, I bought a monitor without a cord from a friend. I'm sure it will be a fine computer. But, I think the most important thing to take from this is that Best Buy could probably be one of the best stores on the planet if they would only bridge that gap that I was faced with. It would make for a much more pleasurable purchasing experience for the consumer and most likely bring more business altogether to the store.

I love the selection of movies you have, but would like to know when different series' come out to fill our collection of different ones. The service I experienced was out of this world. The associates were way more knowledgeable then any I have encountered at local stores such as Radio Shack, and I had such a great time interacting with them. Well, the sales associate was really accommodating and patient. My wife is a school teacher and needed an iPad for doing some student entries which Apple has a nice app for. The associate stood with us as we pondered and looked at other devices, she was AWESOME and made the purchase of the iPad easy by providing additional information and technical advice. The Bellingham store is nice, though Bellingham is rather limited in shopping choices. If I was in the Seattle metro, I wouldn't always buy from Best Buy. But the store is nice and the people are friendly.

I fully realise that a physical store cannot carry all the products available online. In my opinion Best Buy has enough selection in store and available online for pick up in the store.The biggest thing working against Best Buy is the quality of its staff and it always has been. Over the years I have never had a helpful experience with the staff. They always seem to be either condecending and arrogant or completely ignorant of the products they are selling. I can't make it through any of the stores without being asked at least five times if I need help with anything and sometimes it has been the same associate asking twice.

I had to return each piece of my new home theater because it was either broken or performed poorly. Service was always great. My tv had broken audio outputs, my blueray player only connected to netflix 50% of the time, and the wall mount had clearly been repackaged with broken piece. I love your store but shouldn't have to return 4 additional times to get working gear. The only product I haven't returned from that purchase is the Bose cinemate 2 which is perfect for small space. Please offer more high end audiophile equipment in your 98225 area stores, I would purchase these from you if available locally for testing and viewing.

On this particular purchase, a new computer, I dealt exclusively with the Geek Squad Agent. I decided not to repair my existing computer but to buy a new one. He helped me do the entire thing on line. He is very knowledgeable and honest. I felt he helped me select the computer that was just right for my needs. He'll be here next week to set it up. I've dealt with him for over 10 years now and I am completely satisfied with his work. I depend on him for my technology needs. He also recommended an iPhone to me last year which I purchased at the store site. He give the whole Best Buy store a really good image!

The last time I was in it was because a computer I purchased there broke. The Geeks did a quick diagnostic and said it was not fixable. They then walked away with it. They did not bring it back. They gave me the distinct impression they had ABSOLUTELY NO INTENTION OF RETURNING IT TO ME once they told me it was not repairable. UNTIL I ASKED THEM TO GIVE ME BACK MY COMPUTER! Seriously? Were they stealing it? I refused to walked in to a Best Buys for YEARS after that until today, and only because it was an emergency with the phone and I felt you would have the best selection of land lines. Whoever those two GEEKS were appeared to think that just because i am a disabled, middle-aged woman using a walker they could just take my computer, hard drive and all and I would be too stupid to consider that I walked IN WITH A COMPUTER AND WALKED OUT WITHOUT ONE. IT WAS INCONSIDERATE, RUDE, and seriously, what did they think they were doing? It was crowded, I asked for it, didn't ask their names or complain, just vowed I would never return. But I did and Matt was awesome!

On most visits to the local Best Buy store I find the item I'm looking for. Only the most recent purchase, which was the item related to this survey, was out of stock and we had to settle for an open item with higher capacity and price point. I have a hard time finding the ink I need at Best Buy for my Epson printer and my Lexmark printer. My local BB is smaller and only carries the bundled packages of ink. I am not able to purchase individual ink colors unless I go elsewhere. And I prefer to buy ink in person vs. on line.

I don't normally shop at Best Buy (Canada) because I'm not sure what after purchase service will be like. If I can be assured of this it would go a long way to persuade me to buy more frequently at this store, whether in Canada or in the US (This is why I normally shop at London Drugs, British Columbia for my electronics normally). We have never been disappointed by the service or products we have purchased at your store. We will continue to buy our electronics from Best Buy and use the services of the Geek Squad. It is wonderful to have their knowledge at our disposal.

I love that I can go to Best Buy with a purchase in mind and know that a sales person will help me figure out what best fit my needs. I also enjoy the rewards program.

I absolutely LOVE the fact that you have benches for people to sit on during their transaction in the cell phone department. I usually go over to the AT&T store for my needs, and have to ask for a chair. ( I am partially disabled) It was a real blessing, Thank you. I will go back to Best Buy for sure, #1 reason: those benches!!!

You guys need to look at your gaming department, I like to shop with you guys, but it's hard with your ever shrinking game department at. At least at my local best buy, it feels like it keeps shrinking every time I come back into the store.

I would just like to say that I have never had a bad experience at Best Buy. Occasionally the staff is very busy and I've had to wait a little for help, but when a sales person was available they were always very helpful. I have bought four computers and one television set at Best Buy, plus some DVD's and CD's.

Subsequent to this recent store visit I learned that BestBuy would recycle used electronics items. I then took several old pieces of equipment (TV, CRT monitor, laser printer, VCR) to the store at was helped to unload and leave these items in an extremely professional manner. OUTSTANDING!!!

Bought a tv last Monday. Delivery guy called me said that they don't have my tv. Spent 4 hours on many phone calls with best buy. But got no answer. I'm super disappointed with best buys phone service. I love best buy. Still have not got a answer on my tv. Called and left a message with the only number I have. (The delivery person from yesterday's phone call...). Really looking for some kind of help here. Sincerely. Long time best buy reward zone silver member.

So the entire pre order process is horrible. When I was waiting for almost 2 months for my phone I would call every week and every time I would get a different answer about my pre order. Te staff needs to be trained and everyone needs to be giving out the same answers because it is very frustrating! Also when I did call half of the time it seemed like the staff didn't want to give me an answer about my phone, almost like I was inconveniencing them with my question. Often time they were rude.
