My one star rating is for one employee in particular. I came to the store for a Geek Squad appointment to learn my options for replacing my iPhone battery. The two gentlemen that assisted me at Geek Squad were excellent. However, their service turnaround didn't meet my needs. I then began working with three other sales employees in the phones department. I pretty much made up my mind to go ahead and buy a pre-owned iPhone 12 instead of servicing my existing phone. However, a fourth sales employee, older Black gentleman, decided to butt in to inquire why I was so concerned about the cost of the phone (which I was going to pay cash for) and not finance it instead. He took it upon himself to give me a lecture on credit building and financing. He made assumptions about my financial literacy and my bank account. It was demeaning and rude. To make it worse, he stopped the other employee from allowing me to inspect the pre-owned iPhone 12 out of case prior to purchase. I wanted to make sure I was not buying a pre-own device I wouldn't be satisfied with. I decline purchasing the phone and left the store. I came into the store frustrated about my tech issue and left pissed off. I rarely visit Best Buy and I think this will be my final visit to any of their stores.
Horrible store, I went in waited for help while some associates were talking to each other. I followed an associate to ask for help he said give me a minute and never came back. I found him talking to other associates. Then I asked another associate at the counter for help she said she sending someone to help me. I waited about 15 minutes no one ever came. Not acceptable when I watching associates talking among themselves. I'll take my business elsewhere.
Hard to get help to get the product that we wanted.
As a store, they seem to stay fairly clean and organized. The front door person is always friendly and willing the help, but that's about it. 6 years living here, and it's still impossible to find an employee to help, except in appliances. 30minutes of standing around waiting for help and all they do is pull up the website, explain how you can do this yourself, and look up stock, which is usually off count to begin with. Better off ordering online, less of a hassle. Last 3 times I've had kids try and sell me products well over 3xs the sale price of the items I'm searching for. If I'm looking for the on sale msi for $800, I'm not going to buy the $3000 msi no matter how hard you try.
