Called and asked if they had a product in store. Was told yes. Drive 30 minutes to go and buy it. Got there and was told that they have them, but they can’t sell it. Would have been nice to know before driving all the way out here.

First encounter: I went into Bestbuy to utilize my warranty due to my monitor flickering and shutting off after using it for about an hour. They stated they have to ship it off for 2 weeks prior to them allowing me to replace it even though I paid for BESTBUY warranty. Policy is policy and I get it, but why buy your warranty when I’d be just fine with the manufacturers? That was a bit frustrating. Second encounter: I took them not replacing my item as a sign for me to upgrade to an OLED monitor. That and the fact that I really wanted one. My monitor is still acting off so I placed an order for an OLED at this Best Buy to pick up later in the day, I received a message stating that my order was unavailable and the only option they offered me was to cancel the order (meaning all that money would be hanging for about a week until it’s cleared by the bank) well.. I still needed a monitor so I ordered an Alienware and picked it up the same day… when I went in to get my monitor I was curious to see what others they had, so I went to take a look… sure enough the first thing I saw was the AOC AGON PRO that I ordered but was “not available” I then spoke with an employee who said “it could’ve just been an oversight” now my money gets back the same day that the sale ends which in turn means the monitor is 200 dollars more than what I would’ve paid if this Bestbuy was more attentive and did their jobs properly. When I asked if there is anyone I can talk to about this or make a complaint, I was told “no not really” With that being said, thank you Sebastian for doing your best to assist me. To whoever picked the online same day pickup orders on July 12th 2025… do better.

Purchased a floor lamp online which caused short circuit. The manager refused to accept the refund and I was given wrong contact information from the lamp manufacturer to resolve the issue. I also contacted the BestBuy customer service through Facebook and X and in both cases they gave me wrong contact inf from the manufacture. Really frustrating. It was the third time having issues with Bestbuy purchases.

I ordered a floor lamp online from Best Buy before a trip, and it was delivered earlier than expected (before returning home). When I returned home and finally tested it, it caused a short circuit in my home. I brought the item to this store and explained the situation, but the manager refused to accept a return or offer a refund — even though the product was clearly defective. Very disappointed with the lack of flexibility and customer support. I expected better from Best Buy, especially when dealing with a safety issue. I won’t be shopping here again.
