Recently, my elderly father's cable/wifi company changed ALL their routers from 2g-5g to 5g. We were told by cable/wifi company that my father's cameras would NOT work now. Because the cameras are 2g. And we would need to BUY a 2g router. The cameras were recently purchased at Best Buy and were about $500. I came in to "return" or "exchange" cameras because a router would cost an additional $200..so when I came in, an employee from Appliances was called to help me. He was GREAT! He helped me to "understand" that the cameras would WORK with the 5g router, and he went over and beyond customer service nowadays. I am in my 50s, so between my father and I, technology gets kind of complicated. Kudos to the young man. I should have gotten his name. But he works in Appliances and is African American, and it was after 5pm on a Monday. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Nice environment, but too pricey on goods
I would give a zero if I could. Best Buy is not able to support brands they sell. Their staff cannot accurately communicate what the Geek Squad can (or more accurately cannot) support.
Good service good staff only downside is pushy sales men
