Best Buy’s Geek Squad is proud to announce the introduction of Geek Squad Tech Support. Geek Squad Tech Support is a way for Geek Squad to meet the needs of clients who prefer ongoing service on up to three (3) PC, Mac or tablet devices rather than paying on a per service basis. Geek Squad Tech Support is available for any computer new or old and is offered in a 1 or 2 year plan duration.
Services covered by Geek Squad Tech Support include the following:
- Software installation
- Software assessment and removal of viruses and malware
- Certain hardware installation — See store for details
- Memory installation
- Operating system installation
- Annual computer tune-up, including operating software system updates, screen cleaning, fan cleaning, and keyboard cleaning
- Hard-drive data removal upon request
- Password reset
- Hard drive removal upon request
