Be Careful — Misleading Credit Card Offer for Seniors
Be warned: this Best Buy location appears to take advantage of seniors looking for discounts. My elderly father was encouraged to open a credit card after being promised a 10% discount on his purchase. However, after multiple phone calls to the credit card customer service line, I learned that he would actually receive a 10% gift card weeks later, not an immediate discount.
It’s now been nearly 10 weeks, and he still hasn’t received anything. Customer service was unhelpful and even hung up on me during my last call. I’m posting this review as a warning for others — especially older customers — to be cautious and not fall for misleading promises from employees at this location.
I've shopped here many times before and it's been just fine but today I called the store to ask a simple question and found myself in a Kafkaesque "conversation" with a chatbot that was too stupid to help me and refused to transfer me to a human being who could have done so easily. Don't think I'll ever use this company again unless I can't avoid it, what a shame.

Chris at Best Buy was amazing! He took the time to walk us through all of our iPhone options and explained everything clearly without ever making us feel rushed. He was incredibly patient with all of our questions and made sure we felt confident in our decision before moving forward. His knowledge, professionalism, and friendly attitude truly made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. Big thanks to Chris for such great customer service—he’s a real asset to the team!
