Update - we contacted corporate and they said this should have absolutely never happened and refunded us the $100.
This store does not honor what they say at all. I placed an order for an oura ring the day before Black Friday when it was on sale for $249. The next day I went in to browse and decided to try on the ring sizers when I realized I wanted a larger size ring. We talked to TWO workers who told us it would be an easy exchange for a different size and when the order was ready to come back and just exchange the size (same ring). The order was FINALLY ready a week later and when we went to pick it up they told us we can’t just exchange it and that we have to now pay an extra $100. Had we known this was the case we would’ve just bought the other size while we were there on Black Friday then returned the other one. Called corporate they told us this absolutely should not ever have happened but they can’t refund us because it has to go through the store. Needless to say I’ll be returning the ring and never coming back here as they can’t even honor what they tell their customers.

I stopped into this Best Buy to pick up an external hard drive for my Xbox Series S. The only interaction I had with staff was at the front, where an employee stopped me on my way to electronics, asked what I needed, pointed in the exact direction I was already walking, and then immediately walked away.
When I got to the external drives, they were locked up, so I looked around for help. I made eye contact with three different employees, and every single one of them looked away and walked off in another direction. Not one person came over, asked if I needed help, or even acknowledged that I was waiting.
Meanwhile, the only person who stayed near me was loss prevention, and they weren’t subtle about it. It’s a great feeling to be ignored by staff but watched like you’re about to steal something you’re literally trying to buy.
I ended up finding the exact same item on Amazon for the same price—with zero hassle and immediate checkout. No reason to come back here if basic customer service is optional.
