This is written for my parents who experienced this on Monday 5/19/2025 and wanted me to post this review: We’ve been Geek Squad members for several years and have always had respectful, professional service—until now.
We arrived early for a scheduled laptop repair appointment and understood there was one customer ahead of us with an appointment. After they were helped, we expected to be next, as we also had a confirmed appointment. However, the Geek Squad employee then began assisting a walk-in customer who did not have an appointment, which took approximately 20 minutes.
Once that customer was finished, the employee started assisting a second walk-in, at which point we stood up and asked why we had not been called next. Instead of addressing our concern, the employee responded in a rude and dismissive tone, suggesting we were being condescending and impatient. When we clarified that we had been waiting and feel that we should be next and that it was now past our scheduled time, he turned away from me and then began to help the walk-in person and told us he would not help us at all. We spoke with a store manager, who acknowledged our concern and said he would speak with the Geek Squad supervisor and follow up with us immediately. Unfortunately, we never received a return call.
We were extremely disappointed by how we were treated—especially given our long-standing Geek Squad membership. We’ve always experienced courteous service in the past, and we hope this situation is addressed so future customers are treated with fairness and respect. I will not be extending my membership at this point.
