Since Best Buy has jumped on the AI customer service bandwagon, and decided that customers cannot contact stores, or humans directly, I have decided that I will spend my money somewhere else. I go to a store where things are supposed to be in stock - the online inventory doesn't match the store. I try to call the other stores before driving around like a crazy person - I can't talk to anyone. "But I (the AI) can tell you if something is in stock!". If you could, I wouldn't be at a store where you don't have something I need that your website said you had. And this not the first... or the second... time this has happened. I am a big proponent of AI, but only if it is used wisely - and this is not wise.

I had a really positive experience with this store and their staff. I bought a TV online for pickup at a different location, then changed the pickup location to this store back on July 15. The change didn’t go smoothly in the system, and when I arrived they couldn’t locate my order. While it took some time to sort out, the staff handled the situation professionally and patiently. They happened to have the same TV in stock, so they canceled the online order, issued a refund, and sold me the TV in-store instead. The in-store price was slightly higher than what I originally paid online, but the store manager went above and beyond to make things right. As I was leaving with the TV, she stopped me and gave me a gift card ($5–$20; I don’t remember the exact amount) to cover the hassle and price difference, which I thought was very considerate. A few weeks later, I came back to exchange the TV for a larger one. When it didn’t fit in my car, the staff smoothly arranged a delivery for me with no issues at all. Overall, this was a great experience from start to finish. Big shoutout to the manager and staff who helped me that day, professional and accommodating. Excellent customer serice experience

I came in to buy ray ban AI glasses with wrist band assistance. I asked for help when I walked in and 20 min later no one helped me. I went up front to get assistance and they sent me some girl that didn't know anything and chat gpt me all my questions. I asked for the manager and they said they were too busy to help, also telling me to leave so things don't escalate. I left and called the number they gave me. It was some dude from some other country that told me he can't help me get in contact with the store manager. Dear Best Buy you just lost a loyal customer!
