Went in with my GF last Friday evening (28 June) to purchase a new laptop for her, we were helped by a fine young gentleman named Carter, very professional and answered many questions that were asked about various things and different models. We eventually bought a Lenovo. Hey Best Buy you have a good guy there, I suggest a raise and a box of donuts ASAP!

Twice these people have lied or mislead about what they sell.
I bought a CyberPowerPC, which is what the Best Buy sales guy recommended, for $1400 for my son's birthday at the end of January. It is 6 months later and the computer doesn't work.
I called Best Buy customer service. Their customer support scheduled an appointment with Geek Squad. Geek Squad said that because I didn't buy THEIR protection plan, they don't honor the warranty.
Keep in mind, they sell this computer and we're all about telling me it would be perfect for my son after describing what he wants it for.
CyberPowerPC's customer service is virtually non existent and they have no real intention of standing behind their product or their warranty.
I called best buy again and was told that I was given the wrong information and I need to go back to the store where they will take care of the issue with the computer.
I went to customer service at the counter, described what was going on and he had me wait at the geek squad counter to get helped.
I was there for over an hour and a half waiting as there were others ahead of me.
The store manager had not been honest and Best Buy basically told me the same thing they told me the first time. They won't touch it. As a matter of fact, the exact words were "we are not allowed to even touch computers from this company". Their shipping won't even allow them to ship products back to CyberPowerPC.
Watch what you buy there and pay close attention to what Best Buy staff tells you because they will lie and mislead you just to get you to spend as much money as possible. They don't stand behind what they sell and they have no intention of helping you once your money is spent. We have spent thousands and thousands there and, because they are scared of losing a few bucks to stand behind their sales, they won't get another penny from me.
