I appreciate being able to drop off electronics to recycle. I don't appreciate being ambushed about changing my cell phone plan while I'm browsing the store looking for Christmas gift ideas.

We just bought a tv from Matt Spivey at the Georgetown Best Buy and he was so patient and knowledgeable. We had zero idea what we wanted or what we were looking for and Matt walked us through all of our options. He didn’t pressure us on any of it and understood our budget. Matt was a busy man helping multiple customers but never made us feel rushed while answering our many questions. He helped us pick out the best tv, sound bar and mount for our space.

I made an appointment to have my cell phone battery replaced. Easy, right? No. I waited at least 45 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time to talk to anyone. They then asked what kind of phone I had to see if they had the battery in stock! I got lucky they did (I guess) but then was told it would be two hours before it would be ready, wait what? So I reluctantly left my phone. I returned two hours later and was asked if I made an appointment to pick up my phone, omg. If no appointment, I would have to wait till everyone sitting there with appointments had been taken care of. At no time was I told I needed an appointment to pick it up. I immediately asked for a manager who gave me the same story, but did eventually agree to get my phone and simply hand it over. For fun, I checked to see when I would have been able to schedule an appointment to pick my phone up and it was the next day! Just sharing this so that others are aware because no information describing this process is provided beforehand. Process and customer mismanagement at its best!
Could not find anyone to sell me ear buds. Waste of time. Amazon just works
