I am writing to express my deep concern regarding a pattern of racial profiling that I, along with several others, have experienced at your Folsom, California stores. Over time, it has become evident that minority customers are being unfairly targeted and monitored, which is both disheartening and unacceptable. Specific Incidents: • Surveillance and Monitoring: On multiple occasions, I have noticed employees discreetly texting about my presence in the store, following me around, and stationing themselves outside to observe my actions. This behavior creates an uncomfortable and discriminatory shopping environment. • Unequal Treatment: Despite making purchases, I have been subjected to unnecessary questioning and scrutiny, while other customers are not subjected to the same treatment. Legal Framework: California law is clear in its stance against discrimination: • Unruh Civil Rights Act (California Civil Code § 51): This act ensures that all individuals are entitled to full and equal accommodations, advantages, facilities, privileges, or services in all business establishments, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, national origin, ancestry, disability, or medical condition. • Government Code § 12940: Prohibits discrimination in all aspects of employment, including hiring, firing, promotions, and other terms and conditions of employment, based on race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, medical condition, physical or mental disability, age, or genetic information. • Penal Code § 13519.4: Specifically addresses racial and identity profiling by law enforcement officers, emphasizing the state’s commitment to preventing such discriminatory practices.

This is horrible. Best buy has switched to outside company to receive calls. You can't talk to someone in store. Instead you have to call several times before you get a live person who can understand & communicate good enough in English. Horrible, never doing business with Best Buy again. Bring back talking to real people in-store!!!!!!

Recently I I bought a Mac book, and a month later I came again and I purchased two IPad, However, I found the worst customer Service the way that they respond to the customer, I was like why I give my money to some one that they don’t know how to behave with the customers, forget about the customer it would be nice to respect each other as human being, I don’t recommend this location some of the staff are rude and even not willing to talk to you as customer. Bye, Bad buy
