Do not i repeat do not go through the geek squad for warranty! Geek squad warranty is a joke they have had my sound bar for 2 weeks and I called to get an update and they said it's in transit to a repair place in California... 2 weeks to ship out a product that should've just been replaced is ridiculous. They offer you little to no advise and just say there isn't anything they can do. Waste of time and money. Go with best buy protection plan never geek squad!

I went to Best Buy in Folsom today and had the best experience! Matthew the young gentleman in customer service was absolutely awesome. He took the time to explain all the features on the new iPad, printer, and paper shredder I purchased. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made the whole process so easy. I really appreciated his great attitude and excellent service. Thank you, Matthew, for making my shopping experience such a positive one!

MISLEADING PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE. BestBuy Corporate needs to update its GUARANTEE Policy. If I can but an $800 item for $150 cheaper via Walmart, Amazon and Costco, then you shouldn't find every excuse in the book to not match that price. Every time we come into Best Buy they remind us of their 'Price Match Guarantee' but when we finally come to the store because of the price match guarantee . . its only a Guarantee that they will find every excuse and policy exception to not honor a price offered by three other qualified retailers. More marketing than reality on that "GUARANTEE". No surprise that the chains operating income is down quarter after quarter.
