⭐️ If I could give negative stars, I would!
I had an extremely frustrating experience with Best Buy. I ordered a roof-mounted blower along with the installation service. I repeatedly emphasized that the blower needed to be installed on the roof, and Best Buy assured me they could handle it.
When I placed the order, I was told the blower would arrive in a few days, so I scheduled the installation. A few days later, I was informed it would actually take two months to get the product. I rescheduled the installation accordingly.
Yesterday, I received a call confirming today’s installation, and again, I clearly mentioned that the blower would be installed on the roof. The installer arrived today, and the first thing I said when he walked in was that it’s a roof installation. However, he insisted on bringing the blower inside the house, spent a while trying to fit it into the hood, and realized it was too big. I showed him photos of the existing setup to make it clear it was on the roof — only then did he finally understand.
After several phone calls to his boss and Best Buy, the result was: they couldn’t install it. The installer just left, and later Best Buy called me saying they couldn’t provide installation and told me to find my own contractor. To make things worse, I have to cancel the service myself in order to get the installation fee refunded.
I’m extremely disappointed. Before installation, I kept getting text messages reminding me to “prepare for the appointment,” but no one ever notified me when the blower actually arrived. I even went to the store the day before to check the status — and it turned out the product had already arrived!
This whole experience was a huge waste of time and energy. Totally unprofessional and disorganized service from start to finish.
