Went in there today to buy a monitor. I knew the specifications I needed. There was a young lady there that went out of her way to help me that I condone her for. However, when I went to the checkout, I needed to verify that the HDMI inputs were 2.1 running. A PS5 and specifically needs that to get my refresh rate. When I asked the guy she'll be tall, younger Hispanic kid, black hair forgot. His name proceeded to tell me that the HDMI 2.1 was Overkill that I didn't really need it. I told him yes I do. I need it specifically and I explained how it works. Then he told me well if you want that you got to buy a 4K when right behind him. There are Dale alien wares running 2K with HDMI 2.1s. I just looked at him and walked out. I informed the girl that helped me that unfortunately she lost the sale due to that man's incompetence. Just because he didn't want to verify that I was getting an HDMI 2.1 instead, he wanted to feed me a bunch of false information. You need to train your people better. I will not be returning to Best buy ever. I'll buy from you competitors online
