Sold me a pair of refurbished apple headphones that were still connected to the previous owner. Would only trade it in, mind you 10 minutes later, if i signed up for best buy plus. A 49.99 a year subscription. I could have just returned it and got another pair at a different bestbuy that had another pair but they pushed me to get the membership by saying it has all these benefits and that i will get a 20 instore credit with the membership as a perk. But that it took a couple days to get the email with it. Turns out that was false and didnt exist when i went back to the store. The manager Jes was the one who i worked with. I went back to the store and couldn’t figure out the $20 so i found the same lady and asked about it. She said i had to have used it within 3 months. I explained that i sogned up march 17, it was may 29th thats still within 3 months. She told me to call corporate. I called them and they said it didnt exist and i that i should go put that manager on the phone. Jes then claimed she has no clue what i am talking about and that she doesnt remeber. I dont know if they get a kickback or any benefits from getting new members but at any cost the they are frauds and i will no longer shop at any bestbuy. Upcharging people by lying to them is scum. I recommend just shopping on amazon, or a local appliance store this place is awful.
