(August 13): I placed an order a little after 2 PM today for a Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and paid an extra $10 fee specifically for same-day delivery. The order status showed “Arriving today,” but it was never delivered. When I went to see what happened I saw that they canceled the delivery.
When I called, I was told that would be delivered tomorrow. I asked if I could go pick it up, they said I couldn’t. That I would need to BUY another one, and then when I receive my product I can go there and return it…. Making me lose my time and gas. That’s ridiculous. Because of this, I won’t be able to give my mother the birthday gift I bought for her.
On top of that, no one mentioned refunding the $10 I paid exclusively for same-day delivery — a service that was not provided.
Never again.
UPDATE (Aug 14):
After Best Buy asked me to contact them privately, I did so on Instagram. I requested cancellation because I already had to buy another watch for my mother’s birthday. The agent said he would try to cancel it, but later said he got no response from the store and is off for the weekend.
It is now the second day. Still no product, still no refund, still cannot cancel the order, and the $10 same-day fee was never returned. Still unresolved.
UPDATE (Aug 15):
Same things. Nothing solved. That’s the THIRD day.
UPDATE (Aug 16):
Same thing. Nothing solved. That’s the FORTH day.
It’s crazy.
