Hey folks, if you want exceptional customer service, detailed information, a non-pressured retail experience, and some great deals, then you need to see Francois at Best Buy in the Edgewood District. I went there to check out TVs and noise canceling headphones. I had already done some research on deals as well as brands til Francois schooled me even more, but in the most professionally engaging way. He was polite, personable, highly informative, and cool at the same time. This dude knows his stuff.
I had a really upsetting experience at this store today. As I walked in, one of the salespeople got my attention. When I turned around, he looked at me, laughed, and asked, "Why do you look like that?" I was shocked and incredibly hurt by the comment — it was completely uncalled for and deeply rude. When I asked him what he wanted, he just said, "Nothing." This interaction left me feeling embarrassed and insecure. No one should be treated like that, especially in a place where you're supposed to feel welcome as a customer. Extremely disappointed. He was wearing glasses, tall, and his dreads were in a bun.
Very friendly and helpful staff especially the manager who helped me I believe his name was Stanley (sorry if that's not right I'm very bad with names but I know it started with an S)
After a mishap while getting my screen replaced by Geek Squad (all of my data, pictures, and phone number were erased from my phone), Kay and the AT&T representatives helped me get an eSIM card on my phone again. They took their time helping me through what was a very frustrating situation and saved the day. I can’t thank them enough and would recommend seeing them at the cell phone counter for all of your phone needs.
