DO NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY. Horrible experience and customer service, I bought a PS5 from another location about a year ago and i had started to get a problem with the HDMI connection. I had brought it in and talked to an employee who just pointed to the Geek Squad center, no problem. But turns out there was a 6 hour wait time since they have to get the appointments first, no problem with that either it was on me for not making an appointment but I didn’t know there was one to begin with. So I decided to just call another Best Buy nearby but it connected me to a customer service AI which was terrible just due to the reason I couldn’t be easily transferred to a human representative and the AI actually hung up on me. So I was off put by this so I asked the same employee if they can call the other store and he said it was not possible. I was absolutely baffled because how can one store not call a sister location? That irritated me even more so I just ended up calling Best Buy customer service again and got through to an actual human being who then informed me that I couldn’t not warranty my $500 PS5 who said “there’s nothing we can do except you can try going through the original manufacturer to get it serviced “ I had told them when I bought my PS5 I had bought the protection plan, but he had informed me that it wasn’t a protection plan but rather a yearly subscription to get better deals in store. That’s where I had lost all respect and knew I had been conned by the original Best Buy right by Colorado Mills. The employees are taught to be predatory salesmen, and it disgusts me how many hoops you have to jump to get to nowhere. It’s basically “ too bad so sad” and that’s not right, I feel for the elderly folk or people who don’t really know the system because they often fall to these unethical business practices. Please do not support Best Buy and honestly Amazon and Target have way better customer service and electronics than Best Buy. Im surprised they haven’t ended up like circuit city. But if anyone has had a situation like this or worse speak up and maybe they can be a class action lawsuit filed.

I don't understand why I have to stand in line twice. I purchased a mesh wi-fi system which is salesperson was amazing walking me through, but in order to get the monitor removed off of it I have to go stand in regular line after I pay for it. On top of that it seems like they have security guards walking around now which doesn't bother me but it seems like with all the above they have a theft problem?
