I placed and paid for an online order to be picked up at this store. When I arrived to collect the graphics card, they attempted to give me an open-box RTX 5070 as a new item. The supervisor claimed that they thought the item was inside that’s why it was opened. When I asked if I can get an open box price since the box is literally open and all seals from all sides were taken off the response was that they can’t do that for this item. why? If it’s an open item with all seals removed. They didn’t have any others in stock so my only option was to return the graphics card and be without one. This an almost $600 item. How do I know that it hasn’t been returned before and someone temper with it. And I’m just supposed to take their word for it? Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional on top of everything the supervisor was rude and entitled acting like she was doing me a favor.
