I’d like to make an amended review for Best Buy- after posting my anger on July 10th, within 12 hrs I received a reply and my message was immediately forwarded to Trey who promptly arranged a replacement fridge which is being delivered on Wed! I want to Thank both Meaghan & Trey for their prompt and professional responses
I’m done with Best Buy. Buying is easy, but that’s it. I have a 6 month old Samsung fridge that is defective with the filter replacement (it can’t be replaced) I asked to have someone come out to do it- $99 including $50 for a filter when it can’t be replaced. I made 3 phone calls to Samsung- what a joke. Don’t waste your time. I went back to the store and asked the operations manager if I could just exchange it as it’s only 6 months old. He said it was out of his control. So don’t water your time here. The WORST product policies and no accountability for crappy products

I recently purchased led tv online from Best Buy and upon receipt, I noticed a small discoloration on the left side of screen. Since hardly noticeable, I have no intention of returning it since I actually disposed the box and already set-up everything. Two days passed and the bleeding worsened, I called Best Buy and was advised to return it with any decent box, to any Best Buy store. I went to Best Buy Mission Viejo and asked if they have any available box to place the tv, and one of the clerk advised me to just bring the tv. When I brought it in, Jimmy, whom he told me was the manager, whom he lack flexibilty, empathy, understanding and support, approached me and told me, no box, no return policy. I gave him the case# and told him there's no physical damage on the screen, but he kept insisting, no box, no return policy. He even wrote on the tv DO NOT RETURN, CRACKED SCREEN, which it never had.
While I understand the importance of packaging for resale, it’s frustrating that a missing cardboard box outweighs customer satisfaction, especially when the item was in like-new condition. I called Best Buy online store and advised me that they will schedule to pick-up the tv instead.
I’ve been a loyal Best Buy retail store customer for years, but this experience in Mission Viejo retail store left me feeling undervalued. Other retailers are far more flexible and focused on making things right for the customer. I expected better.
