Do your own research on a lot of your questions and any subscriptions they tell you about and urge you to buy. 1. Don’t get the Microsoft 365 subscription as a college student, especially before checking with your school to see if you get those same benefits for free from the school. 2. It is definitely NOT worth getting a My Best Buy Total membership for ($179.99). The guy who sold the Macbook to us did not mention the amount of the subscription, he did not mention that although we would get apple coverage through the membership, he didn’t mention that amount it would be to pay for it, he also didn’t mention if we wanted to cancel the almost 200 dollar subscription, we couldn’t switch to the apple coverage offered directly by Apple (9.99 monthly subscription or 229 yearly subscription). obviously the best buy membership has other perks, but they only matter with you’re constantly buying from best buy. The worker didn’t tell us any of that. All he mentioned was it’s cool for easy Geek squad access and apple coverage. when we asked about the amount after when we were paying he disguised it as being very helpful recommended for Apple products. Very disappointed with this worker and will be looking into it more
