If I could give zero stars, I would. I had an awful experience at this Best Buy in La Quinta, CA, dealing with a manager named Sandra Simental. She was shockingly rude, condescending, and completely dismissive throughout the entire interaction.
I came in to return a defective unlocked phone that didn’t work with our carrier, despite being advertised as compatible with all. Sandra first lied and said the phone had been tested with a SIM card. When I asked which carrier’s SIM was used, she quickly changed her story and admitted no test had been done. Then she insisted I bring in my own SIM card to prove it, which I couldn’t do, as the SIM had already been taken abroad by my elderly father the day after purchase.
Instead of offering any help or understanding, Sandra talked over me, raised her voice, and acted like I was an inconvenience from the moment I approached her. Her condescending tone and eye-rolling when I mentioned contacting corporate said everything about how little she cared.
This manager made no effort to resolve the issue and instead seemed focused on being dismissive and difficult. I left the store frustrated, unheard, and honestly shocked that someone like this is allowed to represent the Best Buy brand.
Do better, Best Buy.
Manager was unable to service my online order while I waited 2 hours. Said corporate would not approve the order while the helpless staff apologized. Canceled and repurchasing somewhere that wants my business.
Knowlegeable salesperson. Great delivery and installation service
I was there to pick up some headphones that repurchased. I met Matt over by the routers. He was very helpful in solving a wifi issue I had at home. I got home and did what he told me and everything works. I wasn't there for wifi stuff but him being so helpful made the difference. Kudos to you Matt!
