Your Best Buy store needs to close by 10 p.m., not 8 p.m.
I always have a good experience with Best Buy staff. They are knowledgeable and provide excellent customer service.
Went to the store to purchase an electric stovetop and had a few questions. There was only one employee in the area, who was helping another customer, so we waited patiently. After about 20 minutes without any acknowledgment, a manager approached and said someone would assist us shortly. Another employee nearby also didn't acknowledge us. It felt like customer service was lacking across the board. The original employee finished with his customer but simply walked to the back without offering help. As we were about to leave, the manager tried to send someone over; while she was friendly, she admitted she knew nothing about stoves and asked us to wait again. At that point, we decided to leave.
Employee told us they were out of the electronic we were looking for and kindly directed us towards other stores around us that may have them instead of trying to get us to buy something else!
