You know, I couldn't remember why I stopped buying from Best Buy years ago and my recent experience reminded me. If I could put zero or negative stars , I would. First off , I bought a phone thinking I was buying from Best Buy but apparently I was buying from a marketplace vendor which I had no idea was there new business model. If you go to a company's website , you think you're buying directly from them. That was a problem because when I went to go return a $700 phone, I was having a hard time getting ahold of someone via the market place ( first I was having a hard time even figuring out who I needed to contact, because, surprise surprise, it wasn't best Buy!) Then the website says to call a specific number.But when you call the number , it says to go to the website and of course Murphys law kicked in and I ended up having some medical issues. Then I finally saw on their website that we could just go directly to the best buy store to return any items. I had read at some point when I first got the phone you have 30 days to return. It was at the store that I learned you only have a two week window to return items and what i read was a return policy for a specific vendor and it doesn't apply to all vendors or products. How much more confusing can this all get! I was even willing to provide a doctor's note or redacted hospital bill or something And they still would not take the phone back, nor would the marketplace vendor. I get that you have policies , but there should be some exceptions, especially when the person can provide proof that they were incapacitated and on top of that it's a new customer so you've never had issues with them buying and returning stuff.. And I say new because that's how long it's been since I bought from best buy, probably more than 10 years and maybe even closer to 20 years. I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to.And I'm sure I'm not the only one who stopped buying from this company for reasons similar to this. Practices like these are probably exactly why you guys probably have had to close so many stores in the last few years and even have to deal with third party vendors in the first place. I should have just stuck with going to Amazon like I was going to but I thought with Best Buy I would probably get a more solid product with less issues. Little did I know that the phone wasn't going to be the issue but the actual company was. Bad bad customer service and confusing policies. Smh

Bought headphones from here less than 2 months ago. They already don’t work. I tried to go back to the store to see if they would help me with my issue and since I didn’t purchase a store warranty along with the warranty that is already included with the headphones I’m on my own. There’s no reason to buy anything at any Best Buy. You’re better off just going through Amazon. Only thing Best Buy is good for is being able to put hands on the item you’re considering.
