Shout out to Calvin in install. If it wasn't for his help after a botched install Best Buy would be getting a one star review.
Long story short I had a Kenwood deck installed in January. I asked the guy installing it to wire it for the kicker hideaway sub so I could purchase it at a later date and plug and play. He told me I needed RCVs so I bought them and handed them over to him. Fast forward to march. I purchased the kicker sub and went to hook it up... the kicker doesn't take rcvs. I called install several times, left voicemails, no answer no reply. I had to drive 30 minutes just to talk to someone in install. The next guy gives me a quick run down on how to hook everything up but doesn't catch that the kicker does not have ports for rvcs and tells me to cut the grey and white wires as they were not necessary. Wrong. Calvin soldered the wires and salvaged the connection. Subwoofer is now hooked up and working. However the deck is now cutting in and out and seems to be getting worse by the day. Loose connection is my uneducated guess.
I hope I get Calvin for the diagnostic test for deck issue as he seems the most competent and knowledgeable.
