I ordered a GoPro camera for my son that said a SD card was included. It came without one. Chat support agreed that it should have been included and told me I needed to go to a store to fix the issue since it was an open-box item. We were camping and my son wanted to use the camera on our trip so we drove to Best Buy.
I was told it didn’t matter what the website description said because their system didn’t show it was included. When I explained that I didn’t have access to their store system when I was ordering and that chat support had agreed that it was listed as included, he said that chat support always lies and “included” meant something different than what I thought. When I showed him the definition of included provided on the Best Buy website he repeated that there was nothing he could do and directed me to the department where I could purchase a card.
Overall a very frustrating and expensive experience. Be warned that Best Buy product descriptions on their website may be inaccurate and that they will put the blame on the customer.
Used the geek service. Had a dead laptop. They were able to take the hard drive out and put all my files and pictures on a flash drive. Very happy with their service.
Bought a TV, after the sales team finished helping other costumers we patiently waited for us to be helped. The lady who help us was very knowledgeable, polite, and super friendly in answering all questions. This was a big difference from Walmart where the people didn't know anything about the product or inventory.
