Completely disappointed in the extended warranty I purchased for a dyson vacuum. Paid over $800 for the vacuum another $129 for 3 year warranty. Took the vacuum in for an exchange and they told me I have to go to the Geek Squad were they would send it to Kentucky for maintenance. As if anyone who buys an $800 vacuum can be without a vacuum for weeks while it gets maintenance or possibly replaced. The warranty is a complete waste of money. Sad because I've spent thousands in Best Buy on kitchen appliances with warranties. Hopefully I don't continue to have these issues.

Bought a phone in January 2025 and paid $200 extra for a protection plan that covered accidental damage. After dropping and cracking the camera lens Geek Squad tells me that it's going to cost another $200 to replace the phone. I call customer service and they confirm that the store CAN offer store credit for the phone instead of charging for a replacement. Spoke with the Geek Squad manager and they would not offer any solution other than charging me $200.
The piece of glass that broke is $4.
Refunded my protection plan (barely got half of my original $200 back) and will fix it myself.
If you're buying a phone here DO NOT pay for the best buy/geek squad plan.
EDIT: After spelling my name incorrectly in their reply I still followed their instructions to have an "in depth review" which amounted to me restating the problem and Best Buy saying they will use my information to improve customer service going forward.
Wasn't enough to waste my time in the store but they wanted to waste more the next day. It took 3 hours to get 3 messages from Best Buy. "Confirm your identity", "do you want to add any details?" And " we will use your input to make service better for others".

I had a great experience purchasing from this store. The General Manager was actively engaged on the floor with customers and was very helpful. The gentleman he turned me over to was extremely knowledgeable and was able to get me exactly what I needed within a very reasonable timeframe. I would highly recommend this location and their highly knowledgeable and engaging personnel
They were helpful, had exactly what I wanted, and it was at a good price. I couldn't ask for anything more from a store. The woman who helped me was knowledgeable about inventory, and she looked up some accessories that we couldn't find on the floor. I'll go back to this Best Buy for sure 👍
