Best Buy has been my go-to store for all technology needs for over 10 years. Today I had an uncharacteristically negative experience. I went to replace my phone that I had previously purchased from a Best Buy location. I was directed to the phone section upon entry and then eagerly greeted by an AT&T provider. AT& T is not my current service nor was I interested in changing service today. So after I made that clear I was told that someone would get to me eventually or that I would need to go to a Verizon store directly. I told him that I purchased the phone at Best Buy and I should be able to get service there. I sat there for another 10 to 15 minutes with no one approaching us to help us. After the lack of any support or engagement from any of the other associates, I got up and left. As I was walking out I overheard the greeter and the AT&t associate discussing that I was leaving because no one was helping me. And they said oh that's fine. That felt rude and dismissive. There was no apology given for my wait, no asking how they can make it better. Just oh that's fine as I was leaving the store. Best Buy was my location of choice because I was always able to make a informed decision on the kind of phone and service that I wanted regardless of the company. The team is usually very helpful, but today, that was not the case. I will be canceling the insurance protection plan that I typically get from Best Buy and have maintained for years and will be going to the carrier directly moving forward to purchase all accessories.

Are the big store a lot of workers but slow service surprisingly. Unless you’re coming to sign up for an AT&T phone plan. Usually, they’re out of stock of anything updated or New. There’s absolutely no deals and better prices online. This store is used for more pick up from online orders or quick convenient last minute purchases. The cashier was very nice 😊 she was fast with her job but I forgot her name.

Went in to exchange my desktop because the monitor was cracked and I was still within the 14 day return period. Basically the manager was no help and instead tried pushing me to buy a protection plan or store credit card. Which I declined both, took my desktop to the Best Buy location I purchased it from and they sent it off to get repaired. I’m never stepping foot in this Best Buy location again. Clearly, they have a different agenda then other store locations.
