I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time, and it’s a failure on my part not to have done so sooner. But exceptional service deserves recognition, even if delayed. I recently experienced an issue with my laptop — not one caused by Best Buy, but by the device itself. Still, Agent Silas and Nicholas Singleton treated the issue as their own. They were patient, attentive, and compassionate, showing not only professionalism but a true drive to make things right. Their ability to channel a negative experience into a positive one is, in my view, the essence of true customer service. Having worked in the service industry for over 32 years, I understand how difficult it can be to stay polite, present, and empathetic — especially when dealing with frustrated customers. But these two didn’t just stay composed — they owned the moment. They delivered with emotional intelligence, clarity, and care. They went above and beyond to ensure my experience didn’t end in disappointment but in trust. I also want to extend my appreciation to Matt, the manager, whose leadership is clearly the foundation behind a team that genuinely wants to make a difference every day. In today’s world, one bad experience can outweigh a hundred good ones. But consistency — showing up, caring, and doing right — is what builds loyalty. I recently visited the Best Buy on North Blackstone in Fresno, and I was extremely disappointed with the customer service, particularly in the TV section. There was only one employee working in the entire department, which led to an unbelievable wait time. Despite numerous employees walking around the store, seemingly not doing much, it was incredibly frustrating to have to wait so long for assistance. The overall impression was one of poor customer service and a lack of attentiveness to customers' needs. Best Buy, you need to do better.
