I had a mixed experience with this Best Buy. I found a great price online and went in-store to pick up a 77-inch TV. During loading, the store associate helping me suggested transporting it “glass up.” I trusted the guidance since it was coming from an employee, even though I had a long drive home. After getting it home and carefully setting everything up, the TV wouldn’t work—it would just power cycle and stay off. After going back and forth with customer service and the manufacturer, I had to make the long trip back to the store. I had already broken down the box, so I had to piece it back together just to transport it safely. At the store, a supervisor helped process the return. What bothered me was that he said he remembered the TV being loaded in a way that isn’t recommended but didn’t say anything at the time. He also mentioned that if there was visible damage, it could have been considered my fault. That didn’t inspire much confidence given I was following employee guidance. To their credit, the supervisor ultimately accepted that it was likely an internal fault (as the manufacturer suggested) and approved a replacement. However, once I got home with the new unit, I noticed the original TV likely wasn’t brand new—it was missing some of the protective foam and didn’t have the plastic film on the screen like the replacement did. That raises some concerns about receiving a previously returned or open-box item without being told. Overall, I appreciate that the issue was eventually resolved, but between the questionable handling advice, the extra travel, and uncertainty about the original product’s condition, the experience was far from smooth

Absolutely avoid. Went in to purchase an iPad, and couldn’t even remain present in the store for greater than 9 minutes. Front desk employees literally followed my wife and I, while we were having a conversation, only to solicit a credit card deal they have ongoing. We made a U shaped circuit through the store to browse before heading over to the iPads and were approached by 3 additional employees asking if we need assistance. By the time we made it to the apple department, we were too frustrated with the continuous harassment and extremely loud employees at the front of the store laughing. Very poorly ran BestBuy franchise and will not be earning our business.

This honestly felt like a complete rip-off—not because of the store employees, but because of Best Buy as a company. I went in ready to buy a new MacBook Pro and planned to trade in my current one, a MacBook Pro M3 in excellent condition. When I started the trade-in process online, the estimate came back at $600. Fair enough. But once I got to the store, that number suddenly dropped to $400 over barely noticeable scratches. That’s a $200 cut for cosmetic flaws you can hardly even see. For a laptop that originally cost close to $2,000—and while I was about to spend nearly $2,900 on a new one—that’s beyond frustrating. It’s incredibly disappointing to feel like you’re being lowballed and taken advantage of at the last step. This kind of inconsistency makes it hard to trust the process and even harder to feel valued as a customer.
